Next weekend are the Santa Ana Shows. So that means today I will have to start grooming! This is the tricky part. It seems in Pomeranians that it's all about the grooming. Well, after all, they are a coated breed! I find that grooming them a week in advance gives them that full bloom without looking like I'm trying. Ha! Don't kid yourself- it takes a lot of work to keep coated dogs in show condition. The greatest thing is that it's so much fun for both my dogs and me :0)
Products I love-
Vellus (Clarifying Shampoo and Static Stabilizer)
Pure Paws (Ultra Shine Conditioning Spray)
Plush Puppy (Volumizing Cream)
Galaxy (Moisturizer and Finishing Cream)
Crown Royal (Bodifier)
Chris Christensen (Thick n Thicker)
Dogs I'm Showing-
Hanae, is my little girl in puppy class. She is really starting to resemble Jake, which is an ancestor of hers, who is a top winner. She still is in the stages of development but I see that her structure and temperament are awesome. We are still waiting on coat.
O-Ce-An, belongs to my friend Barbara and OC is considered an exotic and may have some trouble getting her points because of this. But I think she is awesome and I believe she will be a finished Champ in no time. She too is in puppy class and just learning the ropes but this girl certainly has the attitude of a winner!
Adam, belongs to my friends Linda and Anna and is also a puppy just learning the ropes. He is very correct in type and is turning into a real stunnerJ I'm not sure if I will be showing him or Anna- either way he is certainly a contender!
Then there is the Buster! Buster is the dream show dog! He is seasoned (due to the great training of his owners Reed and Kay) and does just what you ask him to. He only needs one point so keep your fingers crossed for us!
